Thabo David Mohlala
Thabo is a Technician with AWARD and has 10 years of research experience in the Olifants catchment. He also worked for the South African Environmental Observation Network (SAEON) and the Kruger National Park. His background is fish biology, ecotoxicology, water quality, science-policy and science-public interfaces, science communication. He has a broad, in-depth and current understanding of the theoretical issues surrounding biodiversity management globally making him both passionate and informed about the dovetailing of the seemingly incongruent fields of conservation and sustainable use and provision of water resources as well as integrated water resource management. In summary he is an innovative researcher with a sound scientific philosophy.
